24 hours without the politicians...? God don't do us this favor

24 hours without the politicians? It looks like a nonsense. Could that really be true? Politicians are the air that we breathe the food we eat. We can’t do without them. They are there, in every moment of our life. We see them so often then suddenly it comes in your mind the idea to prepare a table for them. Maybe they are hungry, screaming so much at the parliament, it comes a moment they should get hungry, or not?! And if we go deep inside our thoughts, we will find out they are doing this for us. So definitely they need a plate in our table, but then you still think: Are they going to like your table? It doesn’t look to have something nice on it. Maybe tomorrow you will have something better and you will hope that they will sit with you. But tomorrow is the same, no change. Tomorrow is going to be today, yesterday and the past far way. The only thing that doesn’t change is you and your daily poor table.
That’s why we love the politicians so much. You watch them on TV insulting each-other, than suddenly you are not hungry anymore. Turn your eyes to the table, it looks full. Than you think of your problems, the bills you have to pay. Energy bill is going high and high, what’s wrong with your family why do they spend so much? Even the water you have to pay is too much. You are going to tell your wife and your children not to get shower every day. That’s the solution!
Some days ago you got a terrible pain in your chest. Maybe is nothing, but still you can’t go at the doctor. You have to pay, who know how much? You don’t have nothing in your pocket. Analysis, oh God you need to pay for them too. But even if they don’t cost too much, you still will doubt. Are they yours, or to somebody else, being there who knows the same day, or the one before. No, that’s not the day to live without the politicians. Please God don't do this favor...we couldn't survive. It comes again in your mind the novel of Stefan Zweig: “Pain is a coward. He flees when faced by the irresistible power of the will-to-live”.
