Eat it

Human nature is such that when it gets its hands on something, it soon grows bored of it and looks for greener pastures. It covets what others have – which is how the mysterious, devilish being that slumbers inside awakens. The serpent holds out the poisonous apple and says: ‘Eat it,’ and the poor human falls for it, seeking to really ‘eat the apple’. Tani was in search of the ‘next apple’. The one he possessed had withered, had lost its taste and desirability...
